If you aren't documenting existing damage especially at a place like the impound yard. The truck that brought it in here could have damaged something. As long as I document the damage before I touch it, I can't be blamed for it.
Underwater Boat Repair

This boat had a bad vibration and the props needed to get taken off for balancing. Removing it from the slip would have cost around $700 but I was able to help him out by doing it in the water. Took about 3 hours with the wrong tools but got it done.
Rate my lights

This is just the strobe lights full on. No work lights on, no splitting upper lower front sides or rears, no different patterns or intensities, Just slide position 3 from different angles. I installed all this myself. You might think this is a lot but with all the different situations and positions I need to put my truck in, I need every angle covered.

There is a lot that goes into this that most people never even think about. This is just for lost phones and stuff. When you get into recovering vehicles or other more significant things, winter diving, etc.. the difficulty goes up 100x

Spouse and I've renovated/rehabbed half a dozen houses in the past 40-some years. We've gone through Black&Decker, Skil, Ryobi, Makita, DeWalt, and probably a buncha other generics, off-brands, etc I can't recall now. Milwaukee are hands-down the BEST. Glad you didn't get robbed! Crazy white boy in E St Paul late at night - they probably thought you were sketchy, too - ha!
I've given other brands a fair try and Milwaukee has always come out the best.
Jeez, poor car's been used and abused badly. Smart man documenting it - all those little scuffs and dents are just ripe for accusations of mishandling.
With a car at impound, another truck could have damaged something and I don't want to be blamed for it.

Yup. Got a newmar 1-2-70 that has cross continuity between a1 and battery one. Thats what killed the battery on this boat.

These are all low current LEDs. Regular alt and one battery. No issues with enough power.

That’s the problem I’m having on my ford ranger. Pump works great but the level is always off. I just remember not to go past 214 miles 😂. I need to change my unit
When you have access to tow trucks, doing repairs under vehicles isn't a huge deal.
@@MNDashcam yeah for sure. For my truck it’s easier to unbolt the bed and move it back a few feet and you have full access to the tank.

Looking good. Just curious - are there special DL requirements for operating a tow truck? I'm guessing CDLs for the heavy duty rotator type, but the ones you have and rollbacks, just regular DL? And steel cajones.
Anything under 26K lbs doesn’t require a CDL

Had a 1988-89 Nissan Hardbody king cab. Looked nice, horribly underpowered. That was quite a find you got there!

Had a 1979 Dodge Omni which leaked at the hatchback. Didn't take it long to start smelling. Drilled a pilot hole from underneath to avoid the gas tank. Good times.
Worth noting many mount bull bars not fit crash protection but as a place to mount auxiliary lighting or fog lights without having to drill holes in bumpers
